Journal Making

In this workshop we will learn some simple painting and bookmaking techniques to create our own journals. It will be a fun and inspirational afternoon.
Each participant will take home a 40-page hand-bound and beautifully embellished book.
The journals are perfect for personal and/or art journaling. They are the perfect companion to a SoulCollage® practice as well. They make beautiful and thoughtful gifts.

We know that this is true - so what can we do? Well use Byron Katies The Work to guide us and SoulCollage® to take it a step farther.
In this workshop we will use some simple questions from Byron Katie to go deeper into our feelings about a relationship we want to explore. We will then make SoulCollage® cards with intention - keeping this relationship at eh forefront of our consciousness.
There will be a brief introduction to the SoulCollage® process for those who are not familiar with it while those who are familiar get started collaging!

In this workshop we will look at the seasons of the calendar and how they relate to the various aspects of our lives. We will create SoulCollage® cards to add to or to begin our own decks. We will also enjoy a guided meditation.

SoulCollage® is a process of creating, over time, a personal deck of unique, collaged cards from found and personal images for the primary purpose of self-exploration, self-acceptance, and soul-tending.
SoulCollage® is a fun, engaging, deep and illuminating process that is all at once a form of creative play, self-care and personal reflection.
The cards that you make contain images you select - or images that select you - and come straight through your Soul, bypassing the mind.
Absolutely no artistic experience is necessary. The SoulCollage® process is simple and fun. There is no wrong way. Anyone able to manage scissors and glue can create beautiful cards and enjoy sharing them with others.
